| Students named recipients of ABA Scholarships each receive $2,500 to be applied to tuition as they pursue degrees in broadcast communications. Scholarships are paid in one lump sum at the ABA's Annual Convention. Two of the ten awards are earmarked for broadcast engineering students and two are earmarked for students with an interest in broadcast sales. The scholarship program allows students at two year institutions to apply for scholarships.
ABA scholarships are named for Bert Bank, Julius Talton, Dewey Harold "Buck" Long, Jr., Bob Robinson, Sr., Jim Stewart, Harry Mabry, Clyde Price and Mike Travis.
